Robert's Update

Since early February, we have been hard at work. There have been one-on-one meetings, home events and fundraisers. We are also building the necessary campaign infrastructure to be successful as we head toward November. My days and nights are long, but it has been invigorating to say the least as I meet new people who care about the future direction of their city.

Currently, we’re working on the official campaign kickoff, to be held in two weeks. This will be an opportunity to let the community know we are off and running as we take over Generations Plaza for the evening. I invite you to come out and join us for what I know will be a great time in our downtown.

I selected downtown for the kickoff because it truly is the heart of the community. People are excited about what has been occurring and what is on the horizon. Downtown needs to continue to be a primary focus, and that is why I am pleased that the kickoff is being sponsored by businesses and individuals who are champions of our downtown. They are vested in its success as they own businesses, property or understand its importance in our future.

Once we have this public launch of the campaign, we will be ramping up our activity out in the community, on social media, and beyond. To stay more informed about the campaign, please follow my campaign Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter (personal/campaign) accounts.

Thanks for your continued interest and support, and I look forward to seeing you in two weeks!

Social Media

Social Media will continue to play a bigger and bigger role in this campaign. If you haven’t followed the campaign yet, we encourage you to do so by liking simisonformeridian on Facebook and Instagram, and @electsimison on Twitter. You can also follow Robert on his personal Twitter account. If you are following, thank you.

You can also invite your friends (who live/work/play in Meridian and the Treasure Valley) to like these same pages. Individually invite them so they, too, can learn more about Robert and the campaign. These simple steps are some of the easiest and best ways you can help the campaign today!

Join Our Winning Team

Our volunteers and donors are passionate about keeping Meridian a fantastic place for their families! What about you – how would you like to help our campaign?

To Donate: Robert wants to get 500 individuals to donate at least $19 to the campaign as part of the Simison in ’19 Supporters. If you haven’t donated yet, you can do so by clicking here now to help ensure victory this November! Every dollar counts, but what counts more is every person who is willing to take this step.

To Volunteer: Each month, our volunteers meet at Leasa Stricklin’s home to connect, sign-up for upcoming campaign needs, or work on a special campaign related project. If you have already signed up, we will email you details – or you can sign up now to help power the campaign to success this November. Click here to join our winning team today!

Women For Simison

On May 1st, Treasure Valley women (and a few guys) met at Mayor Tammy’s home for a “Women for Simison” open house. Amidst the snacks and refreshments, Robert summarized the many issues affecting Meridian residents and how together, we can ensure a vibrant and connected community for years to come. As one co-host said, “I’ve met with Robert Simison and believe he’ll continue to guide the fastest growing city in the nation in the right direction.”

We are grateful for Mayor Tammy opening up her home and backyard, as well as the many event organizers and over 70 co-hosts, who made this event a tremendous success. Stay tuned for news on more open houses to be held in the future!
